With more than 20 years of experience across diverse educational settings, my expertise lies in caring for infants and toddlers. The first 1,000 days of a child’s life are crucial for emotional and cognitive development, which is why choosing the right caregiver and environment is so important. I am dedicated to providing attentive, responsive care that supports each child’s unique growth during these formative years.
Guided by Heart, Rooted in Family
As a mother of two wonderful boys, I created the program I once dreamed of finding for my own children when they were infants—but couldn’t. That personal experience shapes everything we do at Like Home Family Daycare.
Our philosophy is simple: childhood is a journey meant to be cherished. We provide a nurturing environment where safety and well-being are the foundation for growth, while honoring each child’s individual pace and developmental stage.
Every activity is thoughtfully designed to support early learning and development, while preserving the warmth, connection, and individualized attention that only a family-centered setting can offer.
Our home daycare is run by a dedicated team, with a low adult-to-child ratio of 3:10. This allows families to count on reliable, consistent care and strong preschool preparation. Through small-group, combined with a structured daily routine, we promote social-emotional development and independence—helping children feel confident, capable, and supported as they reach important milestones.
Enriching Programs for Every Stage
Arts & Crafts
From playdough to using scissors, we encourage children to express themselves through a variety of textures, colors, and materials. Through hands-on exploration, they learn colors, shapes, and so much more—while strengthening their fine motor skills and creativity.
Circle Time
Children learn through repetition.
Singings songs, reading books , talking about weather and our day is how we build strong language skills and expand vocabulary.
Read aloud stories that spark a lifelong love for books and communication.
Pretend Play
Pretend play is essential for their development. Not only it is fun but its when they learn and exercise social skills, taking turns, problem solving, negotiation and imitating real life actions.
Outside Play
Fresh air and time in nature have a calming and recharging effect on children. We spend a lot of time outdoors, where my large backyard provides the perfect setting for exploration, active play, and observing animals.
